Understanding Your Choices

Life Plan Community

A Life Plan Community, formerly known as a CCRC (continuing care retirement community) is where all levels of care exist on the same campus: Independent Living, Assisted Living, Alzheimer’s and Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing Care. The Neighborhood is a “type A” Life Plan Community, and as such, the costs for long-term (Supportive Care) is included in the monthly service fee (except additional meals).

The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho is where you can re-energize your retirement lifestyle while also having a PLAN should you ever need a higher level of care. As a Life Plan resident, you have peace of mind because you receive lifetime housing, priority access to Supportive Care, predictable long-term care costs, and lifetime financial protection. This is a senior community where you can thoughtfully be planning not just for your current needs – but for your future needs as well.

At The Neighborhood, apartment choices range from spacious one-bedroom apartments to expansive two-bedroom/two bathrooms with den, you are bound to find the size fitting your lifestyle and budget.

“I chose a Life Plan community because I wanted to be in a situation where I would be cared for and not be dependent on my children.”
