COVID Cases Update

No new NIRR cases have been reported. One Safety employee and one contracted Therapist are at home and will not be allowed back into the building until they have been cleared.

COVID Testing

  • Voluntary FREE testing by Presbyterian Healthcare Services of Independent Living residents will occur in the Supportive Care parking lot on Wednesday, April 8, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
  • TIMES FOR TESTING BY IL APARTMENT
  • WEAR YOUR MASK WHEN LEAVING YOUR APARTMENT.
  • Please exit the front IL lobby door and walk or use your mobility aide on the sidewalk where you may sit at chairs spaced six feet apart.
  • The police will be present.
  • We have printed your NIRR Face Sheet (attached in the confidential envelope) that has the information needed for you to hand to the tester. If you want to bring your own ID and insurance card, you may but it is not required, if you give them your Face Sheet.
  • Tri-Core Reference Laboratories will process the results. Results will be available within four to seven days.
  • You will need to create a “Presbyterian My Chart” account online for results at PHS.org so you can check on your results.

    • If you refuse testing, the Secretary of the Department of Health can require your isolation/quarantine. The Neighborhood may report the names of residents refusing testing.

Bistro

Welcome back Sara!

The Bistro will reopen Wednesday, April 8th. A Bistro menu form is attached (different color from Ponderosa menu) for April 8 to April 10 lunch.

  • Lunch service delivered to your apartment only Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • For Wednesday (April 8th) lunch only, you may call the Bistro at Extn. 4224 between 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. for delivery to apartment.
  • Otherwise, you will receive Bistro menu form the day prior for you to leave with your completed Ponderosa menu forms.
